Clinical interests:
Mr Bridle specialises in hip and knee replacement surgery and is renowned as a leading London hip surgeon. He performs a large number of primary replacements, including complex cases; he is now using robotic assisted technology with the MAKO robot, to improve the accuracy of surgery and the results. Revision surgery following implant failure and infection is a highly specialised area of hip and knee surgery; Mr Bridle is part of a team of specialists at Fortius Clinic, who work together to decide on a treatment plan and undertake this type of surgery.
Training & background:
Mr Bridle was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at St George’s Hospital in 1994 and continued this role until August 2016. As well as a busy clinical practice, helping run the Complex Arthroplasty Unit, he has been active in management, including roles as Lead for Orthopaedics and Clinical Director for Surgery and Clinical Director for Major Trauma
